Driving Talk
« on: January 17, 2014, 07:38:49 pm »
You know i always thought that it took alot to get a drivers liscence
but clearly it doesn't  take much because so many people drive stupidly..
What i hate the most is being behind someone while they are driving with their foot on the brake  :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: there is a long pedal for a reason!

What I detest is when people use their car as a phone booth, restaurant, text messaging service, theater, and styling center.  it's a damn automobile, just drive period.

I agree. The car is not meant for all of this tech stuff while driving. I don't even answer my phone if I'm driving. If my teenager is in the car she will depending on who it is and put it on speaker for me while she holds the phone. She knows when she is behind the wheel not to either.

In Oklahoma, texting-&-driving is ILLEGAL! ... multitasking? ::) Think of it this way: When your children are playing in the street (as they will---ESPECIALLY if you forbid it), would you rather know that drivers out there are ONLY thinking of driving, or would you rather suspect that about half of `em are also watching the latest viral video on YouTube?

I'm glad there are people out there 'riding the brakes,' because it shows that they are cautious (as you never know when a fast-running child ;) could hop out right in front of you while you're speeding to your next hair-appointment!)

Most people drive alright remember being behind a"student driver" they were so careful it was funny like stopping at a stop sign for 1-2 minutes and looking everywhere.

But it only takes ONE little screw-up to end life as you know it! Why do people ever STOP being "so careful"?

Yeah i can see your point there.. but that doesn't mean it will stop the child from being struck.. Just because one car slows down or drives slower doesn't mean anything.. Their are other lanes and other vehicals and some people just do not pay attention and by the time they did slow down it would be to late.. I just doing like being on a freeway with somebody driving with their foot on the brake that could easily cause a wreck in itself because the other party could not be looking and going faster.. Just multple scenarios. Rather annoying but i do catch your point

I've seen people drive while trying to shave (men) and women trying to fix their hair while driving.

It irks me when I see big rig trucks being driven by people (it's usually men I've seen do this - not try to hate) who are talking on their cell phone. The phone is up to their face and it's so obvious. They're a danger to us regular car driving people. >:(
