Any free stuff sites like freecycle?

Are there any other free sites like freecycle, where you can post your want lists or things you are offering for free? Freecycle is too hard to use, and I don't like all the emails I get every day (even though I tried to unsubscribe). Craigslist in our area doesn't have much.

Craigslist is where it at just to find a potential transaction. You do not have to limit yourself to your area. Work out a way to get items shipped from their origin. shipping costs money but so does gas and even getting help to haul stuff to your house. Why not get something in the mail and have someone bring your item to you. one way of doing this is by selling/buying through amazon or ebay in order to document the transaction.

I didn't know there ways sites like that.  I sure would be interested in it if there was such a site.  There is a website that it says Try and get paid but I never had success with that site that might not be the accurate name but most of you know what I am trying to say.

Craigslist is the only one I can recall. Maybe you can google it and find more that way..

I just give it away and who I give it too can sell it if they want too... I'm downsizing now and I have given LOTS and LOTS away...

I don't trust Craigslist enough to actually send shipping money to anyone on there. In our area, they just don't have much free stuff, at least nothing that I'm looking for. I also was hoping there would be an easier site to post free things I don't want any more. Craigslist takes too much time. I was hoping there would be a forum-type site or something.
