Why Is My Firefox Having Such Trouble with Chrome-Scripts?

Every so often, my Firefox browser will 'freeze-up' on a script whose address starts with "chrome://". Why is that? Why doesn't Firefox just regard 'Chrome-scripts' as another form of '!--N/A--'-HTML?

Try searching for your answer through Firefox support.  I even made it easier for you here:

I had a different type of problem with a recent upgrade of Firefox and pursued a solution via Firefox support.

I was very pleased with the patience and step by step instructions that took several messages back and forth before it was resolved.  But it was resolved  to my satisfaction. 

Would also recommend that you use Firefox support/help to find an answer to your question.  (You will have to register to ask your question -- but you can view their forum without registering..)
