Why Want a 'New King James Version' Shown Parallel with an '(Old) King James V"?

I guess the better question would be 'What's the difference between the KJV & the NKJV?'

I mean; I know the NKJV is 'updated' to the newer language-patterns we use (most of) today, but does that really change any important parts of the message anywhere so that you would want to verify them?
