How do you deal with the death of your spouse?
« on: March 02, 2014, 08:46:28 am »
I lost my husband on  22 of this month. I can't believe that a week has gone by since I felt his last breath. Now that the funeral is over and relatives have gone home, I have to move on. I am taking a couple weeks to visit my best friend in another state. I hope the distance and the time away from my home will help me move in the right direction. I  haven't worked in over 5 years because he was disabled. Finding a job will not be easy for me at 59. Anyone have any suggestions? After 39 years of marriage, it is hard for me not to cry a little each day. How long before I can stop the tears everyday?
