Videos not allowed because of gender

I've also seen quite a few. I think it is probably because the demographic they want to see it is male for some reason. Maybe they think more males will buy the product?

I was not aware that gender had anything to do with surveys taking.  I guess you may be right.

I hate when the video is gender oriented, it should not matter, just pay me the penny or two...

Yes I have come across this and I don't know why they do this it stupid it should tell us it for male or females so I understand.

Today there were three videos for Hot Pockets.  All of them told me they could only be shown once.  I have seen one before but not the other two.  I frankly do not get any of this.

I've seen it and I think it's silly too... the next day, I get a "sex change" and get to see the video

This age restriction/gender restriction is very upsetting to me. Videos should be for everyone.

I guess it is all about the target market. I can't say I agree with it, but I understand from a business standpoint.

I DON'T understand the business standpoint.  I've seen some videos that you would think women would be more interested in and they turn out to be "male oriented."  The only thing I COULD understand would be commercials about alcohol being restricted to people over 21.

I cannot get some videos because of being female but I'm more apt to not got them because of my age and that bothers me a lot more than being blocked out because of female.

Have been disqualified on numerous videos for gender AND/OR age. Sometimes the subject matter matches people with my profile and sometimes it does not. Just doesn't make any sense to me.

Yes, I find this strange too!  Why does gender really matter?   A video is a video?

I have I have also been refused videos because of age or gender.  I don't understand that myself. If you find out why, let me know.

They are advertisements, not just videos. Different advertisements and products are geared toward certain demographics. This is true of all advertising.
