Mobile Device Required?

 I do not mind doing the tasks but I do mind that not all tasks can be taken by everyone. I do not own a smart phone or tablet so I cannot do the tasks that require a mobile device. Is FC discriminating against its members that do not own a smart phone or tablet? Can FC offer tasks that only require a basic smart phone.

The tasks are actually offered by Crowdflower and FC doesn't make or control what tasks are offered.  I wouldn't go so far as to call the mobile device tasks "discriminatory".  Not every person is going to be eligible to complete every task or offer.  We just have to take what we can get and move on.

FC does not control the tasks, that is done by CrowdFlower.  The point of these tasks is to test search results on common mobile/smart devices for site rankings.  In todays world the chances of somebody searching for the desired site on a non-smart phone are astronmical, dumb-phones just arent equipped to do that kind of search.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of it making me get off one thing and do it on another. Lol. I haven't tried them out yet, but maybe they aren't that bad. There are usually lots of other tasks for us to do. Good luck with all your tasks!

It is not FC's fault, but Cloudflower's, but if people like us can't do those tasks because we don't have a smart phone then look at it this way, the money those people make with their smart phones is nothing compared to the cost of having one, in other words I'm not going to spend a couple hundred dollars so I can do a bunch of 6 cent tasks Eventually they might get ahead but is their time worth it too
