Adware
« on: April 26, 2014, 08:21:38 am »
I seem to have gotten adware from "GetSavin" on my computer and I can't get rid of it. I have tried to uninstall it but it seems to keep coming back. Has anyone ever had a similar issue and have an idea on how I might get rid of it?

Have you googled GetSavin you should find some sites that explain how to remove it

Wow! I hope I don't get that! Ads today can be pretty annoying.

That's sounds completely annoying. Adware is a real pain. I would also recommend you googling it to see if there's a way to get rid of it. You might also see if there's a program in the background that you can shut down. Good luck getting rid of it.

Go to CNET and download AdwCleaner.  It's super.  I also got rid of every toolbar.  I also use Malwarebytes.

I spoke to the folks at my anti-virus protection they said I needed to get rid of all the toolbars. I didn't realize I had that many.
