I drink echinaea tea when I am starting to catch a cold. It helps alot. So does peppermint and other mint teas.

Consult your local pharmacist for (OTC) over the counter remedies.

Make onion soup and rub vapor rub on the edge of your nose holes.

This is the worst time of year for a head cold!  Try "cold-eze" it helps to cut the cold in half.  You can find it in any drug store.

Have you tried an old-fashioned method?  Put a towel over your head, run your hot water until the steam rises up and put your head over the steam.  Hope it helps.   :rainbow:

Have never tried this Echinacea tea, will see if I can find some to add to the medicine cabinet.  I usual use peppermint with honey and lemon.

Those are good choices too.  Mostly getting rest helps the most.

Emergen-C is good and is even found in the dollar store. If you have a stuffy head, put a towel over your head and hold it over a lavatory of really hot water. It's a cheap croup tent. It will definitely make your nose run and clean your sinuses out and it won't burn like neti pots or syringes do.
