There is a BIG difference between advertising and sharing, try that. This summer I turn 76 so you have a ways to go.

I tweet my FC cashouts and that's about it. I've tried sharing with others and I get negative responses...along the lines of they can't be bothered. Oh well.

I haven't checked out the new profiles yet, but heard rumor they were supposed to be changing soon.  I have a couple Twitter accounts.  One is my personal one which I've been trying to use to get me in the habit of "blogging" (and not being too successful at keeping with it...oooh...shiny...    )

The other one I use for all my online money activities.  Recently I upgraded my account on another PTC site and got some advertising credits in the deal, so I tested out some advertising strategies with some of my sites, including FC.  The site has some ad options where users are given incentive to share the ad (via Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and a couple others).  I actually did get one referral from that trial run - although I'm not sure if that referral is going to be active at all).

That got me thinking about creating my own HTML page and setup tweet links for my sites that I can book mark and every day click a few sites - just to get them out there.  From what I've seen, it's volume and consistency using Twitter to advertise.  Just one of many free avenues to use.

i have a twitter account, but i don't really touch it. i mainly use it to follow people that write inspiring words. lol!

i am going to have to get back on twitter. I just never really got the hang of twitter for some reason I find it really confusing. I have an account but dont remember my password... i had so much going on I got behind in all my computer dealing.
