Driving

I noticed the older I get the more I do not like driving to much. I like to be able to
go where I want to, but I rather sit on the passengers
Side.

How do you feel about driving?

This a complex question. I really dont like being the passenger bc I am not in control, but i think that is partly because my husband is a horrible driver and tailgates so i cant relax. Having said that, i dont really like driving period because of other drivers. Yesterday going to the grocery store i was behind an SUV where a woman was holding up her table and messing with it the entire time she was on the road. she went into oncoming traffic twice, swerved everywhere, sat through half a green light, yet none of that prompted her to stop her dangerous behavior.  i see stuff like this daily bc i commute and am exposed to traffic. it makes me insane to see people behaving this way.

i too just like to go to the places i  need to go to and get home---my son is old enough now to drive so i send him now i just hate going any where these days --i wish i could afford a chauffeur !!  lol

I like to drive the country roads to relax.  City driving is not my thing.

I would rather be driving most of the time.  I get kinda nervious when others drive cause they may speed or tailgate or something that just makes me uneasy.  If it's someone that I feel is a good driver though, then I don't mind letting hem take over.

Doesn't matter to me.  With certain people I would rather be the one driving but other than that I don't care.  I don't mind driving at all.

OMG.  I beem driving logn distance to work fo over 20 years and it wears on you so much.  I hate even driving during weekends.

I like to be able to get up and drive myself anywhere I want, but as I get older I avoid driving much at night. I've had some eye issues and don't feel that I see as we'll at night, plus I'm more paranoid about having an accident or getting stuck in the dark.

I enjoy driving here in our town or in a country area. I haven't been driving in the city the heavy traffics freak me out.

It is just a way of life, but at least since I retired I do not have to do as much driving; so that is a plus. The problem is not so much the driving, but having to drive for others who do follow the rules of the road and I try to stay clear of them to avoid accident.

I love driving. I used to drive a semi-truck. I will go anywhere but I have to drive. I don't fly, take a train or a bus. So I always drive where ever I go or I don't go.

      I still love driving...even though as much as I did once. Because of all the young drivers getting into very serious accidents. I just do not want to hurt myself or others.
