Favorite Scent?
« on: June 29, 2014, 08:47:51 pm »
Whenever you buy household cleaning products, laundry detergents or soaps of any kind, do you have a preferred fragrance or do you just buy the original scent?  I love lavender - a very soothing scent.

My sister and I were doing some big cleaning around the house a couple weeks ago and she was using---I forget the brand name---some natural spray cleaner with I suppose a sort of citrus-y scent, and she made a comment that it smelled "like Star Wars vomited." I got a kick out of that, haha.

I haven't paid much attention to the scents really, but am super aware of body wash and body lotion scents. Right now I really like coconut for body lotion, and lavender for body wash. :in-love:

I don't have a favorite smell for cleaning or anything else for that matter just as long as it is fresher and smells clean i will take it anytime over the odor of unclean clothes or old dishes that has been sitting for a while. I would say anything that is fresher than armpit odor is much better than none at all! LOL

I love orange or lemon scents when cleaning.  Anything citrusy works for me.  :)

I prefer lemon scent. But I love the smell of cinnamon. I'm waiting for someone to come out with a barbeque scent. I'd buy that. Probably make me hungry though.

I don't really have those options for such products. We just get whatever we can and if we find something that smells nice then we get that. I remember a long time ago getting a detergent that was like mountain spring or something (I really have no idea what it was called and it wasn't a big name brand), its scent was really nice and made our clothes smell good for a bit which made our closets smell slightly like the detergent too. I like when I can find something that has a really nice scent and isn't too strong but just strong enough to last a while afterward.

i make sure to buy a bottle of fabuloso lavender every time but i don't care about the fragrance in my other products. My fabric softener is usually ocean breeze.

I usually like the original scents on most products.  When I clean by bathroom, after cleaning the toilet, I love to pour pine sol in and let it set.  It smells so good and clean.  If I use plug-ins, I like the cinnamon apple scent.
