Would you rather talk on the phone or text?

I most definitely would rather talk on the phone rather than text. I know exactly who I am communicating with by the sound of the voice; anyone could be at the other end of a text.

I do both but I prefer texting certain people and I like talking to others. It just depends on who it is on the other end.

It really depends on the reason that I need to be in communication with the other person.

I love texting for short messages and reminders.

For conversations, then I prefer the telephone call.

In most cases I prefer to just text. It is fast and I am able to focus on other tasks while waiting for the next text. Sometimes a phone call is better because you cannot always detect the exact meaning or feeling with a text. Sometimes it is nice to just hear someone's voice.

However if it is a simple question I will text. plus the fact I don't have an I phone so texting is a bit more time consuming and harder for me

I rather text. because some people can stay on the phone talking for hours about nothing or saying the same things they have already said..It's just better to text for me... Even though i do think talking on the phone is a little more personal.. I still think texting is better.. I don't mind the texting...It's fast and easy for me.. but probably because i have a blackberry and have a qwerty keypad and blow through a text faster than a call... Woot

It depends; if the conversation is going to take a long time or need further clarification I'd rather talk, but for basic chit chatting with friends I'd much rather text so that I can talk at my convenience.

For the most part I'd rather text.  I don't particularly like talking on the phone.  The only people who call me are people I have no interest in talking to with only a couple of exceptions.

I like both. I used to talk on the phone alot but my generation is all about texting. I barely text or talk on the phone. I don't know why I have unlimited talk & text tbh.

Talk is better unless you avoiding someone text is simple and safe..  LOl
