When was the last time you had a vacation?

I don't think I've taken a vacation in probably 20 years!!    The children were young and now
they are young adults. lol  But I don't mind, I'm used to it.  I get an afternoon off at the beach or mall here and there and plenty of breaks during the day.  Maybe we'll go some day, just not now.

Just last month, my family and I went to Wisconsin Dells. It was awesome. We spent one whole day at the Olympus Water and Amusement Park; the Wave at the Water Park is fantastic. We also saw the Tommy Bartlett Show and Jeremy Allen The Illusionist. We went on the Original Ducks where you travel on land thru the woods and then down the Wisconsin River. Also, the Upper Dells Tour. Plus, we went to the nearby casino where I won enough money to pay for my share of the hotel. What a trip!

About 7 years ago I went to New Orleans as a late honeymoon from my wedding 6 months previous. Nothing since then.

My hubby and I are going to Myrtle beach in a few weeks for a mini vacation. I am pretty excited. Last vacation was about 5 years ago.

I really cant remember the last time I had a vacation...but I guess that's expected when you're a full time mom. Of course for the fourth my family went to the lake for the day. It was fun and the firework show was amazing. I don't know if that one day can be counted as a vacation but it was nice to get out of the 115 degree weather.

I like to text more than talk on the phone because most days I'm so busy or I'm doing other things and texting makes it easier to multitask. Between homework, cleaning, taking care of kids and pets and all other tasks I do during the day a text message is simple and takes just a few seconds and then I'm hands free.

My last actual vacation was a few days last September. My family took a trip up to Washington and Seattle to experience IFLY - an indoor sky diving experience. It was fantastic. My husband also has some old friends near to Tacoma and we took some time to visit. One of my other favorites activities was we found a chinese buffet called AAA in Tacoma. It was superb, fine quisine, spacious, loved it.

I have not had a real vacation in over 5 years.  I went to Las Vegas.  I used to go every year or two.  Then I got married and had kids... Not so much time for vacations anymore!  Oh well, there will always be retirement!

Hello I am not sure if anyone noticed but I just did but it looks like one of my posts for a different forum accidentally got posted on this forum and so its totally off topic from this thread. For that I am very sorry it wasnt properly posted. I thot I was in the right forum when I was typing the reply. I was having some issues with my computer and phone_tablet yesterday and wasnt sure what happened. But my deepest apolologies for anyone confused. I dod go back and put the post I made in the right forum and even tho it says im close to the minimum for the month I personally will only count it as one regardless to be fair for everyone and because it was my mistake I should have paid closer attention especially since all devices where glitchy. I also hope that FC does not make it were I cant post anymore due to that mistake. Again my deepest and sincerest apologies for having one of my posts yesterday posted to the wrong forum. Thank you for the understanding.

On a happier.note, I do not know if this will count as a vacation or not, but my boyfreinds sisters have invited us to help make the plans for us and them and all kids to go to a.lake for.fishing just before school.starts....hooray!!

Yesterday I just got back from South Dakota.  I've never been there so I can cross one more state off my list.  I went to see Mt Rushmore, the Crazy Horse memorial and the Badlands Park.

I haven't been on a vacation in years.  Finances prevents me from doing anything vacation wise.
