That is why I bought a shredder.  I got so much junk mail that I became sick of it myself.  I don't want to be a victim of identity theft, so I shred anything with my name on it.   :rainbow: :rose:

we put our fireplace to use with junk mail, never  bother to read it...just open it and burn it.  saves on taking trash off

I generally just throw it away, same with emails although I may glance the subject heading to make sure a piece of legit mail did not end up there by mistake, otherwise I delete junk email  and throw out snail junk mail.

My junk mail ends up in the shredder. This is one of the best things you can do to protect your identity.I never throw a piece of mail straight into the trash if my personal information is readable.I don't mind getting junk mail. It's better than telemarketing calls and way better than door-to-door solicitors.Besides,I'm a postal retiree and all that junk mail keeps my former co-workers gainfully employed.

I do not read junk mail.  I just toss it before I even get inside the house.  Funny, I got a post card from I think Allstate telling me they need me to call them immediately because my car insurance is up for renewal and they need to go over some things with me. LOL.  I do not now nor have I ever had insurance with them. I do not know how they got my name and address.  Maybe they send that to everyone and just hope somebody will call and they can switch them and they not realize it.
