Have you ever had a point or time in your life where you didn't have an emotion or a thought ..Is it normal to not have any emotions or thoughts? I always thought your brain is constantly thinking...Maybe it could just be a feeling and there are emotions and thoughts there.. Would then the emotion be blank and thoughtless? But how is that possible? What do you think?
Yes. I was just spent from grief. I had nothing left and was just blank for a few days. It did not last long though.I was thankful for that. Just a time out. I have started to make those positive steps forward with the rest of my life.

I wish I could have no emotion. But I am always thinking constantly..like right now as I am typing this I am thinking about things that are going on. My boyfriend shows no emotion what so ever, and it annoys me. But he is also older than I am and a male. So that could be a reason.

I am one of those people whose brain seems to run in overdrive.  I have always been somewhat "emotional."  I cry when I'm happy and when I'm said.  I even cry when I hear a beautiful song.

I agree that meditation would be turning off my brain.  As far as emotions - I think they are always there but some people sometimes refuse to let them out.  I think it is controllable.

yes it's possible.  sometimes if things get too stressful, or you're overly exhausted, your brain can make it seem like you're not totally shut down but maybe zoned out for awhile.  that way you get some much needed relief or rest.

No, that has never happened to me.  Most of the time my brain is running too fast and being stressed out about something that maybe happening in my life.
