Terminology
« on: August 19, 2014, 10:38:23 pm »
We all have our own terminology that we feel comfortable using.

I've recently noticed that even "religious" people are uncomfortable using the word BLESSED.  Often times, they mention that they are LUCKY, instead.

I've also heard some people say that they are FORTUNATE.

Which of these words are you most comfortable using on a daily basis?

I use them all because I want to acknowledge the good in my life.

Have a great day!

I guess it depends on why I'm saying a word like that. If it's something that is innate to myself -- something that I was born with that I cannot change -- then I'd say blessed, but if it's something that just happened to me without what I'd consider divine intervention, then I just say I was lucky. For example, I'd say I'm blessed with my intelligence but I was lucky for passing that difficult chemistry test.
