I think they have no choice if they got pregnant and delivered a bay at this age...But a teens' parents'  should teach them the sense of responsibility as teen parents.

with all my daughter has been doing lately i am so scared that this will be the next thing she will be pregnant and no job or father for the baby--i just cant seem to reach her

i think that there are some teens that are mature enough that they could be parents i for one was mature enough to have been a teen parent would i have wanted to be now way so many struggles.

We live in a day and culture where teens should be teens.  Kids should be kids.  Babies should be babies and adults should be adults.  We do not live in a society as some do (Tribal groups) where girls are taught how to run a household and raise kids as early as 9 years old.  Married by the time they are 12 and having babies shortly there after.  I know had I become a parent in my teen years I wouldn't have been very good at it.  I'm nearly 40 and there are days I'm an epic failure when it comes to parenting.

I have a cousin who had a baby at 18, and know people I went to school with who had kids around the same age...
ultimately it's their choice, but really a lot of times this stuff happens as a mistake, and then they have to deal with the consequences.

Being a new parent is wonderful, but at times it can be really difficult and stressful, too. This can generate many different feelings. It's common for new moms and dads to feel guilty when they're not enjoying every second of being a new parent. But it's important to remember that it's OK to want — and need — to take a break from the baby every once in a while.

It's not a good idea at all.  Wait until you are stable enough emotionally and financially.

It's more about maturity level than age. I know many adults(30s and 40s) who are still not mature enough to handle being parents. I know people who had children in high school that are much better parents than those who waited until later in life.

I think teen parents are showing their immaturity... they know what causes it, they can take a pill each day to prevent it and WAIT until they are older to have a child...

I know a lot of people that got pregnant while using birth control correctly.   I know a few that ended up pregnant on the pill and using condoms. It's just going to happen some times

It depends some show responsibility and some don't

If you choose to lay down together then u choose to be responsible for your actions in my opinion.Being responsible and sexually educated helps.

I should hope that a teen should know what causes pregnancy and if he/she does not want to be a parent then they should take a pill or use condoms or whatever...
