Drinking water
« on: August 25, 2014, 09:24:08 am »
Does anyone else have problems making themselves drink water? I have such a hard time getting it down. Sometimes I even gag! It has to be almost frozen-slushy cold for me to drink it. Weird.

I didnt like to at first but now I drink close to a gallon a day. You might want to try add some type of flavoring at first then slowly start to decrease that until you get use to it.

Believe me you're not the only one with this issue. Before they came out with the portable water bottles people actually opted not to drink water.

I used to not drink much water but now I try to everyday.  I drink plain bottled water and it is much easier than trying to make myself drink tap water.  I don't like any of the flavored water.  Our city water is not the best quality so we switched to bottled water several years ago.  My father-in-law does not like drinking water at all even though his dr's tell him he needs to.  He thinks Dr.Pepper is a good sub. for water.

I don't mind drinking it, but it has to have a whole lot of ice and of course be ice cold.  Now when we lived in the southern part of N.M. our water tested out at 99.8%pure. It was so good and came right out of the well cold. But this city water is not the best. So I drink weak tea and lots of ice. Oh heck just give me the ice.

Yeah, unless it is hot outside, I don't really drink water. However I am trying to drink more water for health reasons. I will continue the good struggle.

hmm you might try a dash of lemon or lime to make it a little more appealing.

I think it depends on which one you buy. some of them I can't drink but the one I have bought for the past two years I have no problem drinking. So you might try a different brand to see if you still have the same problem.

Water is slowly becoming one of my favorite drinks. It's the only drink I buy right now. I started drinking it more for health reasons. It really is one of the best drinks for your body.
