Wishlists
« on: September 06, 2014, 09:22:01 am »
I don't consider myself materialist; however, my family members made me aware that I'm a difficult person to shop for when they want to get me a gift.  I don't like having that reputation so I decided to do something about it.

I've been putting a few items on a wishlist on Amazon.com.  It doesn't mean my relatives have to shop on Amazon.  They can price shop for the same item at different stores or on other websites if I make my wishlist available to them.

The idea is that they can surprise me and still buy me something, they know, I'd like.

Now, when they ask me what I want I can tell them that I'll send them a link to my wishlist and it works both ways.....

I encourage them to create wishlists that I can access, as well.

Do you have wishlists online?  Do you have a difficult time shopping for loved ones?  What is your strategy for gift giving?
Have a great day!

I don't like to wish for things, prayers work better. I learned a long time ago my wishes don't come true.

Haha!!  I've got my Wishlist on Amazon, too!  I usually tell my family members to start making their own "wishlists" around October for Christmas gifts, then we exchange lists.  When I buy a gift, I'd much rather get them something they need or want then just buy something they might not like.  In the end, I think it makes everyone pretty happy to know they got what they asked for.

I have a wishlist on Amazon, but I don't share it with other people. My Amazon wishlist is for things I want to get with Amazon cards that I earn online. My family members all know that if thy can't think of anything to get me for a gift, Amazon gift cards are always welcome!

I also have a wishlist on Amazon, I think Im pretty easy to buy for. My mother however is not, and anytime I ask what she would like, she always tells me nothing. I have found tho the older I get that I seem to say the same thing, funny when we are younger we can think of a hundred things we want :)
