Post Birthday Visit

Yesterday was my birthday, and today my mother is paying me a visit! We get along a lot better now, that we are both older; but my house is usually in a state of chaos. So, I've been up most of the morning trying to make it somewhat presentable. Not sure if it will work, but....
I'm not even sure why she's coming over, she lives in the county and probably should be limiting her driving. I did talk to her yesterday, and was with her most of the day Tuesday.
Hopefully this will go well, normally they're quick visits.

I hope it goes well....I am a mother.....my mother died when I was 16 so I can't imagine not sharing something of that day...but then again, birthdays aren't superly celebrated here.  I think going out for coffee or lunch would be a very pleasant tradition.

I lost my mother this year.  If I could, I would move heaven and earth to celebrate another birthday together.  Cherish your mother. Dust your furniture and make the best of every moment you have with her.  She won't be around forever.
