After your wedding did you keep your bouquet. I made two artificial ones just so I could keep mine

Yes. I kept my bouquet for over 39 years. After my husband died in Feb. I had an estate sale and got rid of a lot o stuffI had in my keepsake trunk. I am going to sell it. I decided to let go of the bouquet. It was very sad, but I just had to let it go!

I've known for many year's about this traditional wedding that the bouquet should go to the single lady who catches the bouquet. I think it would be wrong to keep it for the bride, if family and friends attend.
Athough since you made a few for you then I think it's a cool  8) Idea! If I get married I might just make one to keep!  :)

Our family does event planning, including a lot of weddings.  I am amazed how many brides have 2 bouquets.  As soon as the ceremony and pictures are done they trade out for the duplicate, the first one is given to the florist or someone to preserve.   Then the duplicate one is thrown at the wedding.

I did not keep my bouquet.  We got married 38 years ago and we did not have a big reception or dance.  I didn't through it either.  I don't know what happened to it.
