I read the trilogy, "Fifty Shades of Grey", in a week.  Labeled as mommy pornography I knew that I had to have a good understanding of what the opposite sex was thinking...akin to reading Cosmopolitan magazine. Understanding what women are reading allows me to be a more sensitive man and better understand what they are going through and interested in. It also allows me to contribute more conversation at gatherings and parties. I rarely have time to read but it usually has purpose when I do. I will not be seeing the movie. I had different casting choices in mind: Ryan Gosling as the leading male and Kristen Stewart as the female and can't imagine anyone else in the role.

No, I've never really had the interest in reading it.  I probably won't see the movie, either.
