Be careful of any online jobs or otherwise that sound too good to be true or ask you for ANY investment up front to perform the job.
You might think about childcare for second shift parents or even telemarketing if they would let you call from home. You might have to train outside the home for awhile.
If you would be willing to host several "parties" a week from your home with products that do that sort of thing, you might be able to make money if you have a lot of friends and relatives who are willing to refer their friends and acquaintances as time goes by.
If you have special knowledge in any area where others might be going to school, you could offer to tutor.
If you have a washer and dryer and don't mind a bit of ironing, offer to wash, dry, fold, and iron special clothing items for busy career people. Make sure you allow expenses for water and washing detergent, etc.
If you have good, creative writing skills, you could offer to do resumes. (I am able to do this, for example). If a community college is close by and you are good on a computer, put an ad up in the college regarding typing and proofreading papers for college students (something else I could do).
All in all, evaluate your talents and resources and decide what might be best for you. You might have to try several things at once. Most of all, BEWARE of what I previously stated.
