Time to pray for and remember those that have passed before us with celebration! I'm Norwegian but embrace the philosophy behind this. The dead do not want to see us mourning but, rather, would see us celebrating. Enjoy life, embrace death and passage into Heaven! Spirits of dead children were invited back yesterday, November 1st is all Saints day, and the 2nd is all souls day (decorate the graves of the departed). Marigolds (flowers of the dead) adorn this festival as well as sugar skulls. Bring favorite foods and beverages to the tombs of loved ones. Remember the dead with humorous tales of their past!
