I agree, I love the cheap gas prices, and hope they stay like this for a while.

It's sure nice to see the gas prices below $2 here in Texas.  Right now it's at $1.94 and it continues to drop.  I hope the cheap prices stay around for awhile. It's nice not having to pay $50 every time I filled up.

It's awesome to see this post because gas was low when you started this and it keeps getting lower.  I paid $1.88 earlier today in SC.

I filled my tank yesterday and it was one dollar and seventy one cents (after a grocery store coupon/credit) and it is rumored that the price may go even lower and it could stabilize at these prices for about a year!  These low prices are supposedly wreaking havoc on the market but how much does that really matter to people that are at poverty levels?  I was thinking about throwing a few dollars towards oil futures figuring that the prices would eventually begin rising again.  That was until I heard that the government is thinking about raising taxes on gas. Given that the prices of gas will artificially increase due to taxes I think that people will continue to minimize their reliance on gas.  Good for nature but bad for oil prices if I were to invest.

I can fill up my Escalade for less than $50. I'll be taking advantage of that with a trip real soon lol What a blessing!

Gas is down to about $2.19 here, but with fuel discounts from my local grocery, I was able to fill up for $1.79/gal for a total of just $30!!!
