Do you decorate for the holidays? Do you notice a big difference in your electric bill?

We do, we really haven't noticed any big change in the bill.

I'm on a budget so mine is always the same year round. i always pay the difference in January when my year is up  lol  so i don't know if the extra is from the summer cooling or my December Christmas lights.  Doesn't matter they are pretty and i really don't care  :)

There isn't a huge difference. I don't put a ton of lights up and have them synced to music.

I used to when I had lights outside but I no longer have them outside so I don't have a higher electric bill.

My son and I do decorate but we try not to turn the lights on for long period of hours. So not much difference on the bill.

I don't decorate any more.  When I did, our electric bill would take a huge jump.  I  have so many lights on my tree that we wouldn't need to turn the furnace up very high because of the heat generated.
Have a wonderful day!

This year is the first year I did not deck out the outside of my house! I am tired of the huge electric bill that comes with it. A tree with lights and lights wrapped around my lamp post is it for me this year! It's about Christ not about how sparkly your house is! :)

We used to decorate a *lot* when we were younger and it did make a considerable difference in our electricity bill.  As we've gotten older and less able to do all the decorating our decorating is more modest and there is now only a small blip on the electricity bill.
