Survey Site Burnout

I can tell I am starting to burnout on the amount of time I am spending on 3 different sites trying to earn enough extra income to make this worthwhile.  Also, I am beginning to feel guilty when I don't spend a certain amount of time each day.  I have a friend who says I need to take several days off each week and ignore my computer.  I feel between a rock and a hard place.
Anybody else ever feel like this?  What did you do?  How do you handle your time regarding your survey sites?  Do you work on multiple sites?
Suggestions and insight, please!

I spend way to much time on these sites making little money. I am down to what I feel like doing and what I feel is worth doing.

I agree with your friend. You really need to evaluate how much your time is worth. If you are spending five hours a day to earn $5, is it really worth it? That's a dollar an hour. If making money is a priority, you should look into options that provide more return on your investment of your time.

try the peanuts they have a few 36 cent easy surveys but just quickly click through, not expecting anything and youll get something. I got 3 peanuts unexpectedly in 3 weeks. remember we work for little bits here.

I am on many sites. A few are only survey sites but most offer other opportunities to earn. I really enjoy being on these sites but I also receive social security and have a p.t. job so while I like the extra money that I earn on these sites, I spend as much or as little time as I want.

Try other things besides surveys. Watch videos and take offers like Paid To Click on Fusion Cash. Unless you need the money very badly, only do it if you are enjoying it. If you begin to get stressed because you are bumping out of so many surveys, try something else on these sites or get off them for a time until you are relaxed.

I know what survey sites will almost never use me and I no longer attempt these surveys. I go with the survey sites where I have had some luck and success.

Yes, I have been feeling burned out with surveys but I feel like I have to do this daily. It is the only money I've got coming in at the moment. I'm in the process of trying to get a more steady income but it's taking a while.

I work full time so some days I have more time and some days not much.  It is extra income for me so I do what I can.  The last few months have not been very good for me so I try not to get stressed about it.  I am still pretty new to all this but I can understand how you could get burned out if you spend lots of time on here.

I got few checks($27,$60,$90)but the time spent here is toooo much for me and my family.I think i should look for more sites.PTC,video and survey is not worth it .And btw...they took back 28cents today.

I'm the one who started this post and want to be clear.  As far as these type of sites are concerned, Fusion is a fairly good site.  There is some room for improvement, but overall, it is decent.  However, after only about 8 months of using a number of sites daily, earning these pennies in the amount of time it is taking is starting to not work for me.  The small income has come in handy a few times I won't deny.  But the amount of time that it takes me to earn this money is ridiculous and makes my hourly wage laughable.

What many who don't work these sites might say are little things are beginning to frustrate me mightily.  For example, surveyors reneging on completed survey earnings but having the results of my time and energy, unavailability of videos or watching one that doesn't credit, surveys that are 20-25 minutes long and pay less than 50 cents, not being to complete a paid to call because the area code of my new phone is not from my area (this is individual to Fusion but the rest are universal), but mainly, the amount of time these sites take to earn anything worthwhile.  Frankly, I am not sure earning anything really worthwhile is possible on these sites.

Please don't get me wrong. The fact that there is opportunity to earn SOMETHING is good.   I didn't expect the income to equal  even a minimum wage job.  I guess I just expected to earn more than I do in the amount of time I have been putting in.  I guess having 2 acquaintances recently getting jobs, one at minimum wage ($8.15) 12 hours per week and another babysitting for a family on an occasional basis has brought home what I already knew.  Do you know babysitters make $6-8 per hour (in my area).  Over the past 2 months my friend who babysits has sat 2 kids a total of 44 hours for $6.50 an hour.  Do the math.  $286!  Cash!!  And my friend has found out that's a bit low and told the parents she would have to increase to $7.00 an hour and they have agreed!!! 

I guess I AM JUST BURNING OUT and am going to start looking at other opportunities shortly.

You sound like , you need to take a break!!!I am only on one other site and I try to be consistent, I do not allow them to get me to the point of burnout, that is counter productive and just not good for your health, so take it easy. We all need the extra cash, but not to the point where it can possibly start to impact our health.

If you're looking for a little extra cash each month, then this is what you get with survey and ptc sites. You have to decide if taking surveys is worth it for the amount of time you spend on them. If you're looking for more, then you should look into starting an online business. Search google and find a topic that you're interested in. You could start a blog or sell some stuff online.

I used to do this last year and I have to pay taxes this year on FC. I am not complaining about it but this year I am not trying as hard and still earning about $30- $40 monthly

Try different times of day. This sometimes helps.

I'm thinking I'm going to do the same. I'm going to have to pay taxes on another site I'm with and I came really close to having to on here. I'm still going to do my multiple sites but stay under $600 yearly on each.
