No. Stricter gun laws will not stop killings. People will always find a way to own or purchase guns. They will always beat the system.

Gun violence is drastically down from just 20 years ago. If you follow the media, they try to make you believe the opposite. Can the system be better? Certainly.

I do think that we should have stricter gun laws as to who can get a gun. I think it is easier to get a gun then it is a driver's license. That doesn't seem right. To answer your specific question, stricter gun laws will not stop killings but if it prevented one then it would probably be worth having stricter regulations.

I would say no than only the criminals would have guns. This is not the answer. I fear if they were to outlaw guns.

If people really want to kill someone they will find a way.   There seems to be a lot of knife killings lately in the news.  & what about that rat poison in children's food at a school cafeteria, sick.

Lets  banned  everything  that  might  kill people.  If somebody wants you dead, your dead.   The more  restrictions  on the  good people could  possiably lead to more thugs in the world.

Nope, absolutely not.  It's just going to make it harder for good people to protect themselves, their family and their property.  Bad people will always be bad people and will find a way to hurt others no matter what.

People are going to do what they want anyway. Laws only stop law abiding citizens, not criminals.

When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns. I have never seen a gun get up and aim itself at anyone.

this issue I think we need stricter  laws for human intelligence more than the guns themselves.

Yes! Guns don't belong in the hands of civilians! If no one  is allowed to own guns no one will be killed by guns! Just today, a 2yr old reached into his Mom's purse pulled out her registered gun & it went off killing the mother on the spot! If she wasn't allowed to carry a gun she wouldn't be dead today. &the child wouldn't be burden of accidentally killing his own mother with her own gun!

I'm not sure, but I doubt they will completely "stop killings" but I do think certain laws might help prevent certain people from getting weapons they shouldn't have.
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

It's a start, but I believe a bigger part of the issue is that people need jobs, especially those who are being released from prison.
