Casual day at work
« on: January 22, 2015, 04:29:40 pm »
Do your employer offer employees casual day on Fridays? If so,  do you like to dress casual or do you prefer to stay in business attire?  I, myself, absolutely love casual day. I love wearing jeans and tennis shoes on Fridays, makes the day more comfortable.  :) :) ;) ;)

If sticking strictly at the office, I do get a form of casual Fridays. The reason I say this is we don't really don't have a formal requirement as people dress down all the time, but I do this myself only on Fridays if I go to the office only. But a lot of times I see clients and vendors so I'm not really supposed to be dressing down as this would a little unprofessional.

My office is casual every day unless we have people coming in. Most days  I am casual, but I do miss dressing up every now and then!!!

I work in a law firm that is business casual/professional most days. We do have casual Friday's, but I usually will still dress business casual. After so many years of not wearing jeans, I really don't find them that comfortable.

If I worked in a stuffy office and had the chance to wear jeans on Friday I guess I would do so.  I use to work in a bank and they did offer the chance to wear jeans on Friday but you had to pay $5 to do so.  I said "no thanks".  Where I work now we wear jeans every day.

I get to dress casually every day.  Blue jeans and sweatshirts in the winter, shorts and t's in the summer.  My boss doesn't care what I wear as long as I'm wearing something when I show up for work.
Have a wonderful day!

I'm in jeans most of the times which is fine for us...we just need to "dress for work" when there's a VP in town.

I work for a firm (at their satellite office), so I can be casual every day, unless a client come in. I love dressing down and I save money on clothes.
