What is this?
« on: February 18, 2015, 05:34:23 am »
I spent a long time wasting my time and energy (20 minutes) and then there is saying I am not qualified. Are they trying to steal money. Now the survey is becoming scam.

I have had similar experiences with surveys. This has happened on Fusion Cash as well as other sites. I have spent a lot of time on a survey only to get a message that I did not meet the profile. when I thought that I must be at the end of the survey. I was expecting to get a congratulations and instead got a sorry.  Other times, I have completed a survey and submitted only to get a message that I was Over Quota.

Fortunately, this does not happen most of the time but it is really frustrating and disappointing when it does happen.

Whenever you begin taking a survey, you are taking a chance that the survey will close before you finish or by the time you submit, you are over quota. Other times, you may be going too fast or you might make an honest mistake during the survey kicking you out.

this is happening more and more often now and it is sad cause you know they got your stats and data to combiine with all the other answers of people with the same stats and data and got that without paying you. someone does know they are robbing you of 50 cents or 75cents and of your valuable tiime. Now here is another, look closely because I would be so embarassed to have even put up these questions let alone insert this page in the middle of a survey to stop the survey with no way out, not even earning one penny which is the usual way out.

Please tell us a little more about yourself so we can improve your survey experience.

Have you been written a ticket for running a red light in the past 6 months?

 Yes

 No
.

Have you helped prepare a home cooked meal in the past 12 months?

 Yes

 No
.

Have you purchased a tennis racket in the past 6 months?

 Yes

 No
.

Do you have a turtle?

 Yes

 No
.

Do you have a ferret?

 Yes

 No
.

Are you born in June?

 Yes

 No
.

Do you have a current opera subscription?

 Yes

 No
.

Have you run a half marathon or full marathon in the past 6 months?

 Yes

 No
.

Do you own a crab pot?

 Yes

 No
.

Do you own a kayak?

 Yes

 No
.
And I answered truthfully
then at the end the click on proceed to next page doesnt work. its all faded out so your stopped after having answered questions then this page of awful questions comes in and wont even go to the penny page fusion has. I would be so ashamed to do this to people who work so hard to earn a penny here.

I've always had bad luck with surveys so I just don't bother with them anymore. I have to really be in the mood to try one. For me this is very typical of surveys.

You are not the only one to experience this most frustrating issue. This is the very reason that I avoid taking surveys like the plague. The only time that I would even consider the survey route is if there are few to no videos or Crowd Flower tasks to work on.

I do surveys when I'm bored anymore. To me sometimes it isn't worth it.

mtt349, I don't think any of us have escaped the scenario you have described.  Yes, it's frustrating to encounter a disqualification after spending a lot of time on a survey, but it appears to be part of this process.  If you don't TRY to qualify in the first place, you'll never earn any money with surveys.  The successful completions far outweigh the disqualifications.  The answer is to just keep trying.

It happens all the time. If something doesn't feel right with them anymore I just X out of them. It is not worth the penny. >:(

I have had that happen many times, right up to the end when it says I have completed the survey and then a screen has popped up saying I didn't qualify, very frustrating, but not worth getting too upset over, I just move on or close my laptop for the night. :)

I think that's happened to everybody at one time or another.  I just keep plugging away. For me February had a very productive survey  month.
