some science news  and experimentation seems so wacky and inconsequential.
lots of time and money is wasted.

Yes. Its seems that way, but I like to think the scientists are working their way to finding something important...like cures for all forms of cancer.  I've lost so many people to that horrible disease.

  It is not all a waste of time and money because many new discovereies are made in the meanwhile.
