Kentucky Derby Time!
« on: April 28, 2015, 06:26:28 am »
The 141st Running for the Roses Kentucky Derby is this Saturday.  I was born in Louisville and have lived in KY all my life but have never been to the Derby.  I'm faithful to watch it on TV.  I have been to other horse races at Churchhill Downs but I prefer Keeneland Race Track in Lexington over Churchhill Downs.  Do you have a favorite horse picked out?
Have a wonderful day!

No horse picked yet.   I usually pick one of the day of the race.  Love watching the Kentucky derby.  Never miss it.   I would love to go one day but if I do I want to be able to go "first class".   Such beautiful horses.   Exciting race.

I haven't looked yet. I don't usually pick a horse until I see them on race day. I always pick an underdog among the 3. Win,Place, and Show. No trifecta yet. I consider myself a winner if one of those horses places in the race. Last year I went to my 1st Derby party in Nashville. It was so much fun. Now that I am back in Texas, I don't think I will be doing anything but work. BMaston12

When I was younger I used to look forward to the derby. But these days I don't seem to care anymore.

I have never had any interest in the Kentucky Derby - I'm not super interested in sports in general though.

I've never really watched any racing or picked any horses, but I would like to watch it in person sometime.

I am from Louisville, KY and live 10 minutes away from Churchill Downs and have never been to Oaks or Derby. Have always wanted to go but every year I either have to work or don't want to spend the money.
