I love wildlife. I want to save species from extinction. Save habitat for new generations. Spend my energy to promote those ideas. BMaston12

I would like to run an old people / animal rescue farm.  A place where both could be safe and not be forgotten.

I would love to be a parole officer. I think that would be so cool.

I work in a court and it's on a municipal level, but we still deal with criminal charges like drugs and simple assault. Not as hefty as Superior court. I have been with my job for almost 20 yrs and I am on the traffic end of it but would love to move up to superior court level, where the real action is! I apply all the time but I think they know who they want to hire but have to post it any way and I have not gotten chosen yet but one day I will! :)

lol. Of course they do.  It's like all jobs.  They already know who they are going to hire but to be legal they have to post it and interview at least 3 people to make it LOOK like they are being fair about it.

If it is what you want then I hope you are chosen sometime soon!

I always wanted to be in the criminal justice field. I love anything "legal." My father, cousin and BIL were cops and I grew up with the whole town police dept. Well, back then, they didn't hire women so I was out of luck. :'(

I then tried to work in the legal field and was told I'd be a great court reporter by one of the legal clients I had but when checking into it, it cost $10,000 and I just couldn't afford that and no guarantees of a job. I then went to my county courthouse and had a long conversation with one of the transcribers. That would have been a great job, too, but as the girl told me, nobody quits that job and you really needed to know someone to get your foot in the door. ::)

I even tried to get a job transcribing police reports but that's a "closed" occupation. Too hard to get in there, so gave that up, too.

I gave up.  :sad1:
