do you get the flu shot

I have to get the flu shot for work so yah i get it . but then i feel sick for a few days so i have to make sure i get it in a Friday so I can rest .

Every year I encourage my children to get the flu shots. In fact it was only last year that I realized that my son, who suffers from asthma, should be getting the needle rather than the nasal mist. I was informed by the nurse that the nasal mist can trigger an asthma attack in someone who suffers. So as a result, I have recruited my whole family to get the needle so that my son doesn't feel he's going it alone.

I do take the flu shot and I have never got the flu from it.

I have had a flu shot every year for 13 years and only gotten the flu once.  I have never felt bad after receiving one.  The flu shot is for the elderly and those who have weak, compromised immune systems.  It also helps if those who are around people who are elderly or have such immune systems get the shot so they don't make these people sick.  That is what immunization is about...  Making the world a safe place for everyone.

This year I got flu shot because I had my baby girl 2 months ago. It is best to be vasinated and safe. I don't like getting shots but when it comes to the health if my baby I will get all the nessesary shots:)

i do and so does my family but it never fells as soon as we do ether i or my husband get it and i think it is going to me this time feeling achy sneezing hot cold fever so i got some antibiotics from the doctor so been in the bed most of the day hope it doesn't get to bad

I get it every year. I don't get the flu either. That is the reason I get the shot. It is worth it not to be sick. BMaston12

Nope, never got one and I don't get the flu either.  Dr Ancrew Weil was just on Dr Oz and he reported that this years shot was not effective.

I don`t get flu shots. Because once I do I get the flu.

Yes, It's better to be safe and take the flu shot than to be sorry later when you do get sick.

we all get a flu shot every year...i'm sorry it has made you sick.  i think i felt bad maybe after the first one i ever got but have had no problems since then.  i hope you feel better soon!

Every time I have ever gotten one I have always gotten the flu. I am never getting one again.
