I cleaned up my email inbox once a month, It take me longer and longer to finish it, I have more and more junk mail every time.

I clean my email inboxs every year.. Nearing 10,000 mail ranging from school, survey sites, ebay, amazon, newegg, keurig, steam, college stuff, etc. I linked my college email to my primary email so I don't miss any news regarding no class, college internships, and the mandatory account password reset every month.

Really should do it daily or weekly... Used to take a 15 mins to delete all the emails I had before, but it is good to know that my email provider made it easy to mass delete messages

I clean mine weekly, given all the junk that seems to accumulate in it.

My goodness. I clean mine every day. If I let it build up I would get thousands of unread messages. What's the point of having an email address if you don't keep your eye on it? It just becomes a huge chore which I do not want to deal with. The only times I let it go longer unchecked is if I am on vacation without access to internet, which is very rare. So currently, I just deal with a few junk mails and spam every day, and it's no big deal.

I get will say 500 emails a day or maybe 5 million seems like, i go through them and delete some everyday.I have unsubscribed to some that helps.

My email clean ups are, on average, several times a week.  I have several email accounts. 

Boy oh boy do they ever clutter up fast. 

On most of my accounts I have to sift through what stays and what goes.  On one of my accounts everything goes.  That account was set up years ago and was originally to be used for an online business that turned out to be junk.  Now the email account gets filled with junk.  In less than 30 seconds I have the whole thing cleared out. 

Then a few days later, rinse and repeat.

I've got several boxes too.  Some are fuller (more neglected) than others.  Long story short I've got some catching up to do and am whittling away at it whenever I can while keeping up with the senders I've already caught up on.

I have one that I've been neglecting for a while. At least I cleaned out my gmail the other day. I use that one for FC and other sites so it can get crowded really fast.

i get over 100 emails a day. i belong to a few different programs and one of them spams my inbox but they give me quite a few that i qualify for and cashout regularly .

I have to clean out my mailbox each week!  It's amazing how many junk emails accumulate!  I do surveys and enter a lot of contests/sweepstakes so that generates junk mail!

I clean my everyday...OMG its terrible when you see all those messages  (specially scam folder). I think is the only way to maintain your mail and try to eliminate all virus and fakes promos some people send it to you.

Maybe you need to clean you box sooner. I clean my box ever few days.

I clean mine every day.  I couldn't stand the clutter, otherwise.  I don't like clutter.  It's confusing and messy and p*ss*s me off, LOL.  I'm much happier with a clean work space, whether that be my desk or my email inbox.
