I have to re-install Adobe about every month, I feel. It's a pain.

I haven't heard of this update as yet but in the past, I have been having similar issues with flash.

I have windows 8.1 and everything is new.I don't need to update manually so i can't help you.

It seems as though I get an error message that my shockwave flash isn't working quite a lot.  I do not like it because it interrupts what you are doing.
