Where is your suggestion for a family of 6 (4 boys 14-20) to go on a family vacation?

What state do you live? Are you looking to travel or stay local?

With boys that age what's probably best is to be by a boardwalk or somewhere where they can have freedom to run around and potentially meet people their age. You get that at an amusement park hotel as well but if there aren't enough roller coasters they'll probably get bored.

I agree with girlygirl1008.  You need to go someplace where they can do their own thing for at least part of the time.  An amusement park or boardwalk would be good.  The older ones might not like DisneyWorld anymore.

Disney.  For sure.  Downtown disney is great for teens... And shoppers.  Every park has it's perks.. but if you're family has been there before than it'd be a unique trip for everyone if they could all tweak the trip for there own interests.

what about Universal? I think it is more teen oriented.
My teen girl (sometimes tomboy) loves vacations that include horseback, rock climbing and white water rafting. Lots of nice place in the Carolina/Tennessee mountain area for this

My vote is for Disney World or Universal as well. With older kid groups you can split up into smaller groups (if you want) so everybody can do the things they want in the parks and still eat and do other things together.

We go to a lake resort. You can fish, ski, tube, swim, kayak, paddle boat, jump on the water trampoline, build sandcastles, make a bonfire, make s'mores, lay in the sun, read.....and sleep...something for everyone.

Take them to the beach their at Oregon coast. It saves you tons and there are also camping areas you can camp out as a family. Enjoy the ocean play some volleyball. Traveling costs a lot of money now  for a family of 6. You don't have to travel far to find enjoyment. Sometimes opportunities are right there where you live, you just have to go find them.
