So Sad

A reporter and producer were killed this morning in Virginia.  What a tragic, senseless, loss.  May they rest in peace.

Heard about this on my way to work this morning on the radio.  They had audio of the news feed when it happened live on the air.  Just leaves you shaking your head and questioning, WHY?

I hope the reason behind this will be discovered.  It won't bring them back but at least the reason however insane would be known.  It is awful two young people with marriages and possibly children in their future.  It is scary how much murder and mayhem is out there in the world makes me want to just hide out in my house which to a point I do.

I was astonished to hear this news on the tv. The young reporter was only 24 years old and her camera-man was not much older. It just seems totally senseless to me. I heard the shooter was an ex-employee of ABC News who left the organization in 2013 and has been disgruntled ever since. Why do people fester about things without getting professional help. It was an unnecessary killing and I feel sad to the core that these young adults had barely even started their grown-up lives before it was all taken away.

Its getting to where its hard to feel safe from crazies anywhere you go.  I try not to think about it a whole lot.  Feel sorry for the families of the ones shot; just so tragic!

I read about that earlier today. It is sad and it makes you wonder what the world has come to.

Seeing their colleagues trying to report the news because they became the news made me very upset.

The "reason" was released almost immediately.  The ex-coworker who killed them basically just didn't like them.  He said the guy complained to HR about him and the girl supposedly made a racist comment.

It is sad and senseless act ans a coward way to go about it too, I do not like to speak ill of the dead, but he did all that and ten killed himself, that is plain stupid.

Those 2 young people did not deserve this tragic end to their young lives and their families are suffering for this too.  May they rest in peace

Too many of these senseless acts are happening more often than not. It doesn't matter where you are in the world because something like this is always occurring. It just hits so much harder when it's closer to home.
