eating toothpaste
« on: September 19, 2015, 07:50:42 am »
I've seen photos of children sucking on the tube of toothpaste.
my mom never allowed us to do that when I grew up.
most of the name brand toothpastes are no good.
people are starting to realize a lot of things and are making corrections in their lives.
they are looking at labels and paying attention to ingredients.

You would think that eating toothpaste would upset a kid's stomach.

I wouldn't suggest eating toothpaste. Some of the kid's toothpaste's have different flavor's, still not a good idea!

Seriously, it says right on the label, no to ingest the toothpaste.  Most of them have ingredients that will upset your stomach and the whiteners have hydrogen peroxide and baking soda which - ick - make a chemical reaction that will remove rust from your bumper.  But, my little sister used to eat crisco straight so who knows why kids do what they do.

Oh my gosh - this is the first I've heard of this - why on earth would anyone let their kids eat toothpaste.  That is just plain crazy in my opinion.  Buy your kid some fruit lol.

I haven't seen anything like that, but that is a little disturbing. Why would you let your kids eat it?

Parents should supervise kids and not allow them to eat toothpaste. It is one thing to swallow a little from a pea sized amount while brushing, but sucking it from a tube? That is idiotic and on the parents to make sure their kids are safely using it. These are likely the same people who then sue companies because it made their kid sick.

It is definitely NOT good to eat toothpaste - most are full of chemicals and fluoride!
