Raise to $10 a Month for Posting?
« on: October 15, 2015, 09:05:17 am »
I'm just curious how many people would like to get $10 a month for posting (instead of $3), but to get it you would need 500 posts instead of 30?

I keep seeing posts asking for more, but how much more would you be willing to do in order to get it?

Naw! $10 for the same 30 post. 500 post in a month is a lot, that would be stupid.

I actually think more effort should be required to get the $3 bonus .There are too many people posting random things just to get to 30 so it would be ridiculous if the number was higher. I have no problem actually putting in more time and work for money, instead of expecting more free money.

I think it's fine right where it is.  Can you imagine having to do 500 posts a month to qualify for $10?  I don't know about anyone else, but that would leave me very little time to do everything else I do here to make some money.  Besides that, I think there would be even more repeating posts than there are now.

No, it's fine the way it is. There is no way I would have time to make 500 posts a month.

It's terrific as is.  I don't mind taking time to compose a contributory post.  Have a nice evening!

I'm more than okay with 30 post for $3.00 per month! I think 500 posts for only $10 is insane. I already put a lot of time on this site, with trying to get approved for surveys!

I like it just like it is. I think it is very fair to earn 3.00 for 30 post. I usually do more but I would never make it to 500.

I would like to see the $3 go up eventually (to keep pace with inflation) but I think 30 posts (roughly one a day for a month) is about the most one can do without the quality of the posts degenerating.

I agree.  That would be too many posts to do and all the random posts would increase.  I don't think we should be able to just post one words or random things that don't make sense.

It isn't broken so don't try to fix it.  30 Contributory posts per month is very reasonable.  If anyone wants to take what I feel is a very good formula for success in the FC forum, turn it up bunch of notches and see what happens with the response, then I say, start up your own earning site.  ::)

In six months, post in the off-topic category and let all of the Fusion Cash members know how things are going.  ;)

I have to agree it is a good system as it is.  We get a benefit and FusionCash gets a benefit.  Our sharing of good offers and success, spreads the word to other members about offers they might never find (I know I have done offers I never would have if I didn't read it here).  Also we answer a lot of questions and help each other out a lot which I am sure lightens the load a bit on "support".

I know what the TOS says about what qualifies as a contributory post.  It seems like there are a lot of posts already that I would question whether they are actually contributory.  I don't envy the administrators' job in making that determination as it has to be somewhat subjective at times.  If they had to ramp that up to review 500 posts, it would be even more difficult of a job.  I expect there would be a lot more users getting their forum bonuses denied and a lot more complaints and discontent as a result.

I wonder if a sliding scale system could be integrated, maybe coinciding with past history of posting, quality of posts over than span of time, and length of time as a member.  That would give users something else to shoot for while rewarding long time members who show ongoing high quality posts.  Oldbuddy and some others would likely qualify for that right from the get-go!  But it would still leave a lot up to the subjective review by administrators, taking more time away from the rest of the site features and operation...   :confused1:

Hey how about raising the incentive to $10 and keeping the 30 post but if the post are under a certain number of sentences then they only get $3.00. Meaning they can have one word sentences.

I think a decent change would be to increase the posting voluntarily. For example, if you can make 40 contributory posts, you can earn $4. If you can make 50 you earn $5. ( I don't imagine FC would increase any higher than that, but they could make the limit as high as they wanted. 60 posts for $6, 70 posts for $7, etc.)

It would be up to the individual to try for the higher bonus, if they think they can make 40 or 50 substantive posts any given month. And of course, it would be up to the admins to determine if the posts were contributory. If you were deemed not making 40 contributory posts, you might still get the $3 for 30 posts. So you wouldn't exactly be losing anything by trying for the higher bonus.
