Adults Trick or Treating?
« on: November 02, 2015, 01:09:58 pm »
This Halloween I had a laugh when passing out candy to trick or treaters. At the end of the night, two full grown adults who looked to be around their forties came to my door and asked for candy like any regular child trick or treating. Have you had a similar experience to this, and what are your thoughts? Would YOU do it? :)  :pumpkin:

I don't give out candy and would not go trick or treating.  I didn't get to go as a kid and now I'm not outgoing enough to enjoy a costume party.  I prefer to stay home with homemade pizza and scary movies.  :pumpkin:

Age is just a number, why not have some fun at any age?!

Go to McDonalds for special coffee treats. Spice Pumpkin and many other flavors. Try other popular flavors during Christmas.

If you don't feel comfortable giving them candy or other treats, just don't. It's very rude to assume that someone is too old to go trick-or-treating just because he or she looks old.

Well I had someone rude when I took my 14 month old trick or treating. She was so spiteful to the fact that my daughter "cant" eat candy. It is supposed to be fun and not about candy!

Thats funny, I only got two trick or treaters on halloween and one the next day, the first one was a black cat, so I gave him some treats, then a little girl snuck up and was talking like freddy krueger, then the next day a little girl came down and wanted all the candy.

If they are with children I can see that.  If they are by themselves that's shameful they are old enough to buy their own candy.

LOL! I think that if I went out trick or treating that my neighbors would laugh at me and tell me to grow up! lol ... I could never do that. But every one is different. So to each his own! :)

Most of my adult trick or treaters came with children. And most of them didn't carry any receptacle for candy.   But I wouldn't mind giving candy to adults....Adults just want to have fun.
