Internet Vacation and Priorities
« on: November 24, 2015, 12:44:29 am »
Have you ever taken a vacation from the internet?

I'm planning to do just that in December.  I'm taking it to the extent of canceling my service to focus on other priorities.

Even if I need to do some shopping I can stop by the Public library in town to do some quick ordering, check email, etc.

I might even make it a priority to relocate.

What are your highest priorities?
Have a great day!

I have a couple of online businesses so it is hard for me to stay completely off the Internet.
There is always customer support to take care of daily.

My highest priority right now is passing my class I'm taking so I can move on with my goal. I can't keep off the internet for long. It's essential for me.

How would I make December Fusion Cash cashout if I did that!?!     ;)   Although I am working on a blog item that is loosely based on priorities in light of Thanksgiving and some recent life events.

Would like to post a link here to get some feedback, but I don't want to get into any trouble and risk my December Fusion Cash cashout...    :P

I have taken a vacation from the Internet when I was on holiday once before but I constantly felt out of touch. I worried constantly that there was news that I was not receiving. I hated not being able to speak to someone the moment I wanted to and the vacation turned out to be quite stressful because of it. In principle I like the idea of it, but in reality I don't think I can do it. To be honest, I don't think I want to do it either!

I don't have the option to take a vacation from the internet as I have a small business that relies on the internet so I won't be taking a vacation from it.  Several months ago I had my phone line come down and I was without the internet for 7 days which was quite a hassle having my son using his computer for me.

It would give me too much anxiety to take a vacation from the Internet. I already did this month, not by my will! Our service provider went out of business and while we waited a week for the new provider to get set up, no Internet. I was so stressed not being able to make my pocket change! These sites are very important to me.  ;)  ;D

I took a short vacation from the internet, when I visited my sister in another state a few months ago. But I couldn't do it for long. I have too many projects and sites going. I really do wish that I wasn't so attached to the computer and internet, but it's a hard addiction to break. Why would I want to, anyway, if I can earn money online? I do take breaks from particular sites when I get burned out.

I like the idea but I wish I can do it. It is hard not to try and earn some money on FC. That is if I take a vacation from the internet. It would be too difficult for me. Although I can totally take a vacation from my phone that would be doable!

Never never have I thought about taking a vacation from the internet ... as a matter of fact .. when I do go on vacation I usually look for a place that has internet access in the room.

I think I can't... It seems it part of my daily life now.  I have to come on at least once a day.
