Paying sites for traffic... FAIL?

ok so I just payed easyhits4u 6 bucks to get my site 1k views..... and guess what? there was not 1 sign up! hahaha FAIL

what do you guys think about paying for traffic?

There's no guarantee.  You could put up an ad in a free classified and still no one might not join.  It's a chance you take.  Companies spend millions of dollars on advertising every day hoping someone will run to the store to buy whatever but that's not a guarantee.   You have to try different things hopefully something will work.

I think that's only part of the battle. You also have to know how to sell yourself on top of it. I'm not so good at the referral thing because I don't feel like putting in all the effort right now to make myself marketable haha. It's always the hardest starting out.
