I thought the slam on people's ages was a bit rude. 
No one wants to get old, but if we are lucky we are all going to go through it.

I didn't pay too much attention to it, just I thought it was a bit strange... until I was at my Aunt's house, she's 80 & was so offended by it when it came on...  Geico alienating their older users.  Advertising Epic Fail.

Did you not understand the commercial? Or the story of Peter Pan? Good grief. The commercial wasn't in anyway offensive or disrespectful to old people.

Glad I gave you a laugh! Being swallowed by the gator would serve him right lol! Being worked over by the lost boys or Captain Hook's crew of pirates works for me too. Seeing Peter sporting a nice black and blue shiner in the final commercial installment would rap things up nicely!

Peter Pan slams the old woman, based on her age & how old she looks. .  He slams all of them because they are getting old & he is not.   You can perceive the commercial one way, and others can perceive the commercial another way.  Perception is subjective on who is viewing the commercial.    Your perception on the commercial is not everyone's...   just saying.

Well than that explains a lot. Nothing to do with perception. The commercial is satire. You suggested that it alienated it's older users and called it an "Advertising Epic Fail." That's just a gross overreaction to a commercial. Do you really think GEICO is making fun of old people? Now that is comical.

I also wouldn't consider telling someone that is roughly 70, that they don't look a day over 70, to be "slamming" them.

This commercial doesn't bother me, at least clearly not as much as some of you.  I've only seen it once or twice though. I will admit to being kinda tired of The Final Countdown commercial. Europe probably made more money off that song from that one commercial, than when the song actually came out in 1986!

Mostly because Pep band ruined that song for me. I hate playing that on a trumpet.

I don't feel too strongly about the commercial but my 11 year old son thinks it is the greatest thing in the world.

I don't like it that Peter Pan is rude at all. He's merely a lost boy, not a lost rude boy!  That's my reason for not liking the commercial.

But I'm all for "free speech" and if that's how they want to play it, okee dokee.

It was kinda amusing at first, but it is a bratty kid being rude and ponpous to a mature adult couple.

Yeh, it is a boy who never grows up....but it is still annoying and rude, but that comes from a 72 yr old great-grandmother here.

I miss the old Geico lizzard, but now they have him with a new voice, and it comes across as phony.

 I have not seen this one... I dont watch much tv, but maybe I need to keep an eye out for interesting commercials.
