Oldbuddy learned something today!
« on: August 22, 2009, 05:17:23 pm »
I have been using Firefox for all my surfing and I bet I tried hundreds of times to get any of the daily surveys to credit with no luck but bad luck  :BangHead:

Then I read a post on this Forum from some lady that said she didn't know why, but she found that Internet Explorer worked when others didn't.  :dontknow:

So I figured what the heck, and tried a survey again today and BAM . . . it took me a few tries to get one that let me take it, but I got credited in an hour or so after I finished.

Hmmm good to know to bad i never qualify for the dailies only the .15 daily..  :(
Wonder if Internet Explorer is better for offers too. I have a couple that wont approve and they are instant. :-

 That is interesting because I always use Firefox and haven't had a problem getting credit.

I've been using primarily firefox lately.  I was coming across surveys that wouldn't work with IE.

Well, well...looks like it's never too late & you're never too old to learn something new, huh, OldBuddy?  :P  j/k!  Actually, I read the same thing but didn't think much of it until I started using Firefox at home and realized I wasn't having any problems using IE at work.  I don't know if it's just the surveys or not, but I try not to stray far from IE for this stuff.

I'm not sure, I've seen some posts that say firefox works better and some that say IE works better.  I prefer IE but I've never noticed much of a difference, I guess it just depends.

In the past I've always used IE until I was unable to qualify for any of the offers.  I changed to Firefox and now I am getting some of the offers to qualify and credit me.

I have only got a few offers. It's very frustrating to do the surveys and not get them. I have always used IE but I downloaded Google chrome the other day and I think I'll use it to see if i qualify for the offers I try.

Me too.  I've always used firefox without issue.  Thanks for the info though!
