Random Acts Of Kindness Day

Today, February 17th is Random Acts Of Kindness Day. I saw this on the news this morning and they had tips on little ways you could do something to make someone smile. You could buy extra groceries for your local food bank or share a smile/compliment/Hi! with those around you. An act of kindness may utilize your time, talent, or treasure. It's up to you. 

This morning I started carrying an extra bag and gloves with me while walking my dog. I picked up any litter I found. It was so simple but really started my day off on the right foot.

How do you show kindness and assistance to those around you today and everyday?

I try to show kindness and compassion each and every day to someone or something in need.

I am going to the grocery store later and will try to do a random act of kindness - If God doesn't lead me to do anything else I will give someone homeless a couple of bucks if anyone is out today.

We dont have to lead a parade after we have been kind to others.Our heavenly fathers sees all!!!

I have been working on passing it forward, small things, saying hello more often to people I pass, shoveling the snow for a neighbor. I think I am taking more time to do this as I get older.
