When was the last time you called the police?

I had a minor car accident in January and called the police because my car died at a stop sign and someone was pushing me off the road and I hit a parked car.  It took a little while for them to find the owner of the car.

I have no idea.  I am sure it's been a long time- probably for an accident or something.

Last week. There was a person on our street speeding and kids were near the street

I had a salesman call them FOR me a few days ago. I was in my computer room (spare bedroom converted) clicking on ads for a penny and to pass the time had Netflix on another computer with a 32" screen. Since I don't always hear well, the sound was pretty loud.

My wife had just left shortly before and left the front door open, so when the salesman stopped by to see me and I didn't answer, he called the police to make sure nothing was wrong. The screen I was clicking ads on is positioned such that I look at the doorway over the top of it and suddenly this over six foot policeman filled the doorway and said loud enough to be heard over the TV, "Are You Alright?".

It scared the daylights out of me, but I appreciated that someone cared enough to check.

Goodness, glad you are ok. I bet that did scare you. Glad the salesman was nice enough to care.

I called the police a few weeks ago. I felt sick in a store and sat on a chair. I should have put my iphone 6sPlus in my purse but instead I laid it on the chair beside me. After a few minutes went by and I felt better I reached for my iphone and it was gone. I went to the service desk and no one had turned in an iphone. I did close my eyes while sitting there because I felt dizzy. So sad that someone would pick up my iphone and walk away. I guess I will never get it back. Glad I used a lock code and my finger print to access it.

Your phone was laying right beside you and someone picked it up?  Wow.  If you were in a store you should ask about video.  ALL stores have cameras in them.  They may have it on video.  A few years ago at our Walmart a woman went in the bathroom carrying her billfold in her hand.  She left it in the bathroom.  Almost immediately went back and it was gone.  Security looked at the video and the woman who had it was walking around the store with it in a diaper bag.  She claimed she was going to turn it in at the service desk when she was finished shopping.  Uh no, she was busted and didn't know what else to say.

The last time I called the police was four years ago. I called the police because my son's father decide to threaten me with a knife. I am so glad that chapter of my life is over. I hope I never have to call the police again.

It was a couple of years ago, I was nervous to call all the questions to complete for them to come to my house.

This is interesting to me because I have never thought about this before, but I haven't ever called the police.  Though maybe I should have a time or two.

12 years ago I guess.  It was my brother felt down and I have no call to take him to the hospital.
