Do you have pet insurance?
« on: April 07, 2016, 09:49:31 am »
When my JC was a baby I thought about it. Pass history, only pets that were a baby the start was able to get insured acceptance. I don't have pet insurance do you have pet insurance? Insurance helps with the shots, vet visits, Seen a show where if you have a pet parrot, you really need a reg-vet. What if your pet gets hurt and did not die awh....my JC, she is a house-cat and does great on a leash but no insurance. Have a gr8 day  :present:

Yes, I do. I have two dogs and the insurance covers their yearly exams, vaccines/shots, and much reduced costs for any other visits and prescriptions. Having the insurance was overall cheaper than just the one yearly exam and shots so it works for us.  :dog: It's also provides a big piece of mind (especially if I'm out of town and an emergency would happen).

I had a cat who passed away over a few years ago when we didn't have insurance and realized it would have made a huge difference with the treatments. We now have insurance for our new cat.

Who do you have insurance with for your fur babies?? I have three rescue babies and have thought about getting it for them?? It gets expensive with three to go to the vet

We have petplan.com and the app for the smartphone works great. It gives us piece of mind. If anyone chooses to go with petplan.com and would allow me to send you a referral link, please let me know. I am able to receive $25 dollars if you purchase a plan. Your goodwill and kindness would be appreciated. Shine on, happy people!

No, I don't have pet insurance.  With all the animals in the house we would go broke just paying the premiums. We are very lucky my sister has a very very good friend who is a vet so that really helps us a lot  we never pay for any services, just the meds and that's at cost!

Frankly, I didn't know pet insurance was available. I have a parrot, so costs aren't that high. He's a very healthly beast.

I did years ago when I had a cocker spaniel. He had seizures and I got pet insurance to help out.

I don't but I really should get some, esp. on my little Meg. She is a terrier mix that I joke that she is part terrier and part goat because she loves to chew stuff, even inedible objects. A couple of years ago, her chewing almost killed her when she chewed open a family sized bottle of ibuprofen. I had to bring her to the vet ER where she stayed over Memorial Day Weekend as they detoxed her. Yeah, that was a pretty hefty bill; wish I had pet insurance back then!
