I like it grilled the best... The local grocery store actually prepares "firecracker" corn for grilling during the summer. It's corn that has been coated with a mixture of butter, cheeses, and spices (more on the hot end of the spectrum, like chili powder, etc.). Although it creates a mess trying to grill them, the flavors all melt together giving the corn a little bit of a kick.

I haven't had fresh corn in a long time.  We used to have a corn festival several towns over but it got stopped by big corn business who think they own everything.  But anyway, when I do have corn I just boil it and put lots of butter salt and pepper on it.

I rarely eat corn on the cob any more. But part of the reason is we traveled for a while and sold roasted corn on the cob.  We sold a lot of it. One place we went through 80 cases in 3 days and with just 2 of us it was hard work.Once in a while i will  scrape corn off the husk to make fresh cream corn.  One of hubbies favorite veggie. Then i will take the cobs and boil them, strain it and then make corn cob jelly. Yes their is recipe for it. It is too sweet for me but the family likes it.

I like it boiled, fried and grilled...Even though corn on the cob becomes very sticky (it sticks to teeth like crazy) when grilled, it's my favorite way to get it.

I like it grilled, roasted, cooked in foil, steamed etc.  Now I have to cut it off the cob to eat because I need some dental work.
